We have a well-defined system for segregating biomedical waste at the point of generation. This means that different categories of waste should be separated, such as infectious waste, sharp waste, and non-infectious waste. By segregating waste, we can minimize the risk of cross-contamination and ensure that each waste category is handled appropriately.

As it should be transported in a manner that minimizes the risk of exposure to healthcare workers, patients, and the general public. We use leak-proof containers to transport biomedical waste. We label the containers indicating the type of waste and the level of risk associated with it. Our Hospital follows the local regulations and guidelines to ensure that waste is disposed of safely and effectively.
